The Secretary of Transportation (Pete Buttigieg) will be attending a DOT LGBTQ+ Pride event. This will be an intimate question and answer gathering for DOT employees who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community. The Secretary will answer pre-approved questions about the importance of having safe spaces at DOT for members of the LGBTQ+ community and hear from Dan Morgan, the DOT Chief Data Officer in OCIO, about the work DOT is doing given the current political climate. At the end of the gathering, there will be a photo opportunity for in-person attendees.
