FAA Pride Vice President Kelly P. Pagels (she/they) Aviation Safety Inspector - Air Carrier Operations Hi there! My name is Kelly Pagels (pronouns she/they) and, as an Aviation Safety Inspector, I am a promoter of aviation safety in air carrier operations. I joined FAA Pride shortly after joining the FAA in September 2019. I have been a member of the Executive Board since 2020 when I was appointed Director at Large. I was then elected Vice President in 2021. I am also a member of the Professional Aviation Safety Specialists (PASS) DEIA committee and was featured in AFL-CIO Pride Month PASS News Now in June 2022. As VP of FAA Pride, I also work in collaboration with the offices of Civil Rights (ACR) and Human Resource Management (AHR), as well as the Federal Women’s Program (FWP) to further support the mission of DEIA recruiting, leadership and retention within the FAA. As VP of FAA Pride, it is my responsibility to amplify the voices and enhance the visibility of my community to create meaningful opportunities for growth, development and promotion. We are working hard to foster a culture that celebrates diversity and inclusion at the FAA. I live in Oakland, CA with my wife, two adorable children and grumpy cat. |
