Opening remarks by Brad Mims ADA (invited) – stressing importance of mental health and that seeking counseling is not a sign of weakness but strength, utilizing this resource is confidential and will not negatively affect your career – but not seeking help will affect you as a person and could affect your career. Encouraging employees to utilize the benefits and resources available to them improves the FAA and doesn’t detract for the effectiveness of the organization.

Overview of benefits from the BOC – Scott Garady – emphasizing benefits that maybe overlooked especially by the LGBTQI+ community (example: Long Term Care for spouses)

Overview of work-life benefits – Rosemary Katchmer – overview and emphasizing counseling as the introduction to the panel and emphasis for this event
