Women have soared in wide-ranging roles including air traffic controllers, safety inspectors, specialists in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), professionals in communications, human resources, civil rights and every other facet of aviation.  

Join Alina George, Project Manager FAA Unmanned Aircraft Systems Integration Office, as she moderates guest speakers Allison McKay, CEO of Women in Aviation International (WAI), Claudia Zapata-Cardone, President of the Latino Pilots Association and Captain with United Airlines, and Katie Thomson, FAA Chief of Staff, Shannetta Griffin, Associate Administrator for the FAA's Office of Airports, and Jessica Sypniewski, FAA’s Deputy Assistant Administrator for NextGen, as they discuss how women can be empowered to shape and mold this industry.
