Allyship is not just a buzzword. An ally is often defined as someone who is not a member of a marginalized group but wants to support and take action to help others in that group. Allyship in the workplace is crucial for inclusion and equality. It can foster authentic inclusivity because it creates a workplace culture where workers are less likely to feel isolated and on the margins. Allyship includes everyone in the conversation.
To celebrate the “Year of Inclusion,” join Abby Smith (UAS-2) as she moderates a conversation with Kelvin Coleman (AST-1), Jeff Planty (AJW-1), Dr. Thomas Harris (DEIA Manager), and Angela McCullough (APO-1) about how to benefit from the importance of allyship.
