President's Corner

REFLECT.  EMPOWER. UNITE.

The election has taken place. Take a breath, then another. I will not tell you to not be sad or scared or fearful.  I will tell you that we can reflect on the past and learn from where we have been and continue to persist in working for equality. The strength of our resistance to hatred is measured by our persistence in not giving up but in continuing to move forward.

The work we have done is still our work today and into the future. We may not have the support in the future that we have enjoyed in the past, but FAA Pride remains committed to serving our community and ensuring our collective voices are heard and we are represented.

We must continue to build bridges and not walls, strengthen our friendships, live our true colors and be ourselves more fully, all while doing our best work keeping people safe as they travel through the NAS and beyond.

We are united in community, we are resilient in the face of hate, we are strong for those who are faltering, and we will continue the struggle to change injustice to justice, inequality to equality, exclusion to inclusion, and discrimination to diversity.

Breathe. We are not going anywhere.  We are here and we will continue to make a positive difference.

Join with us and make a difference.

James  A. Hatt
